2. Secure the handle: Press and hold the button on the handle, then you need to push the male V-mount into the female V-mount. Fix the handle in place. To remove the handle, slide the handle in the opposite direction while pressing the quick-release button.
3. Attach the camera: Press and hold the button on the LiDAR module, then slide the male V-mount into the female V-mount to secure the camera module. Plug the camera cable into the reserved Type-C port on the LiDAR module.

Download and Activate Your Software
FJD Trion provides a complete point cloud solution, including FJD Trion Scan and Trion Model (PC & iPadOS version). Please check the softwares recommended to download below.
To download the real-time point cloud visualization software, you need to go to the App Store and search for FJD Trion Scan. Download the FJD Trion Scan software for iOS or Android on the phone to start and end the operation of P1, and you can view the scanning data in real time during the operation. Besides, you can also open a browser on your phone, and enter 192.168.1.254 in the address bar to access Trion Scan.
FJD Trion Model is a LiDAR point cloud post-processing software. Download the FJD Trion Model from the link on the official website. Then you can activate it by activation code you receive. The user manual is embedded in FJD Trion Model, and you can search this manual for specific operations.
To provide simpler point cloud processing and faster sharing after post-processing, we launch the Trion Model iPadOS version. It is available for direct download from the App Store and supports multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Russian, Italian, German, and so on. To ensure optimal performance, the Trion Model iPadOS version requires iPadOS 15 or higher.
Initialization and Start Practice Scanning
Before venturing out to perform scans in the field, particularly in job sites or busy environments, take some time to familiarize yourself with powering up and initializing the device. Adhere to the steps provided below to achieve a smooth and efficient experience:
1. Powering On the Device and Connecting to Wi-Fi
- Place the P1 scanner on a flat surface.
- To activate the device, firmly press the power button and hold it for a duration of 1-2 seconds.
- Wait for 15-20 seconds for the P1 to enter standby mode.
- Enable Wi-Fi on your phone, search for the network named after the device's serial number, and connect using the password "fjdtrionp1."
2. Starting Practice Scanning and Downloading Test Data
- Launch the FJD Trion Scan software on your smartphone.
- In the Trion Scan app, tap 'Scan' and enter a project name before tapping 'OK.'
- The lidar scanners will initialize, and the power button's status indicator will flash blue. Keep the P1 stationary during this process.
- After about 15 seconds, the power button's status indicator will flash red, indicating the scanner is ready for use.
- Begin scanning and view the point cloud data within the Trion Scan app.
- When finished, tap 'Complete' and then 'OK' to save the data. The power button's status indicator will double flash blue.
- To download the data, tap 'Data' at the bottom of the screen, select 'Download' for the desired dataset, choose the appropriate format in the pop-up, and tap 'Download' again.
- To power off the device, press and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds. The status indicator will flash green for 5 seconds before the P1 shuts down.

Charging the Battery and Preparing for Use
